‘You don’t put yourself online only because you have something to say - you can put yourself online to find something to say’ - Austin Kleon, Steal like an artist
Finding Something to Say (FSS) is a part-visual, mostly-wordy newsletter on how I learn to live my most reflective and creative life. Publishes sporadically, twice a month at least, (looking to become more consistent in the future).
I’m Noor, a full-time Graphic Designer, part-time artist, and above it all, an aspiring writer. I mostly make content on Youtube besides this blog. I list some of my favourite videos at the bottom.
I am still trying to figure out if I’m a writer who arts or an artist who writes. Maybe a bit of both. This blog is a space for me to explore the multiple niches I intersect (art, writing, philosophy, creativity, personal development - there’s probably more).
It is, in short, my rawest form of creative expression.
Why subscribe?
Connection
Whether you are creative or not, I hope the posts on FSS resonate with you on a personal level.
Growth
I mainly share my growth as a small creative and content creator who’s figuring this out as I go along.
Pleasure
FSS aims to make you think and create. My desire is that each edition provides you with a brief yet significant moment of your day.
I make a lot of FSS available for free, but I hope you decide to become a paying subscriber (member), as it gives access to information I’d rather not share in public (very mysterious, I know). Introducing subscriptions is also a small step towards making my dream of a sustainable creative business (Design Draw Do)

More on me
I’m a few years into my career as a Graphic Designer (having veered away from architecture). I’m learning to navigate my feet in the adult world as I balance a full-time job with various side hustles and a somewhat happening personal life.
